This position is a full-time, non-management role located at 9703 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, Florida. The role is categorized under Food and Beverage and Culinary and involves direct guest interaction within the St. Regis luxury hotel setting. As a member of the food and beverage team, the successful candidate will serve as an essential ambassador of the brand, ensuring every guest experience is memorable through excellent service. The ideal candidate will greet guests warmly, manage tables efficiently, and provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations. This job requires proficiency in using point-of-sale systems such as MICROS to accurately process transactions while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

The role demands a positive attitude, strong conversational skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Prior experience as a server is considered advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform. Before employment, the candidate will be required to complete safety training and certification.

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and attend to tables promptly
  • serve food and beverages to guests and provide recommendations when necessary
  • share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
  • accurately and timely enter transactions into the MICROS system
  • engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with each dish and beverage
  • clean tables, complete closing duties, and restock dishes and supplies
