The company is currently seeking experienced, safety-conscious CDL Truck Drivers to join their team in Kilgore, Texas. This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive pay rates ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience, including opportunities for overtime. Drivers will operate trucks starting and ending their shifts from the company yard, primarily servicing residential routes and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

As a CDL Truck Driver at Waste Connections, you will have a vital role in maintaining community cleanliness and supporting environmental health by ensuring efficient waste collection services. Your responsibilities involve operating hydraulic and automated lifting systems to load and unload carts and containers safely and effectively. You will work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to approximately 6 p.m., averaging 50 to 65 hours weekly.

Beyond driving duties, your role will also emphasize communication, requiring clear interaction with dispatchers and customers to coordinate service and address any concerns professionally. Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections are essential to maintain vehicle safety and ensure compliance with company and federal standards. This position demands physical stamina as it involves lifting heavy loads over 75 pounds and working outdoors under varying weather conditions.
