We are currently seeking to hire a Day Porter for our newly designed offices in West Los Angeles. These offices have been thoughtfully crafted with energy efficiencies to maximize natural resources and minimize environmental impact, reflecting PMC’s commitment to sustainability. The Day Porter position is crucial to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence within these facilities. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM and offers an estimated starting salary of $25 per hour, subject to variation based on skills, experience, and internal equity.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, and porter duties. Expertise in floor care and industrial cleaning is highly valued, along with a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities encompass a spectrum of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and attending to restrooms and public areas to ensure a hygienic and pleasant environment. Strong attention to detail is paramount to uphold PMC’s impeccably high standards. Physical stamina is required due to the nature of the tasks, which include lifting items up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Beyond maintaining cleanliness, the Day Porter will play a vital role in safety by identifying and addressing hazards, managing waste disposal in line with environmental standards, and providing excellent customer service through professional and responsive interactions with PMC staff.
