The position available is for an experienced and motivated PM Sous Chef to join Aiona's opening culinary leadership team. This role is vital in supporting both the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine by overseeing evening kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and execution. The PM Sous Chef will not only lead the dinner service with precision and excellence but also take on a mentorship role, guiding kitchen staff and fostering a culture of performance and collaboration within a high-energy live-fire kitchen environment. Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, including leadership or sous chef experience
- Strong understanding of line cooking, service execution, and kitchen organization
- Experience with live-fire, grill, or wood-fired cooking preferred
- Ability to lead under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Availability for PM, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Temporary month to month-based parking pass
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Lead and supervise PM kitchen operations during dinner service
- Ensure consistent execution of menu items to Aiona’s standards
- Manage and support line cooks during service, providing direction and feedback
- Coordinate timing, pacing, and communication between stations
- Assist with menu execution, recipe adherence, and plating standards
- Step into any station as needed to support service flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
