Joining Saucon Valley Country Club as a PM Prep Cook presents an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive culinary environment. This role focuses on preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components for the evening's à la carte service, banquets, and member dining. Working primarily in the afternoon to late evening shift (2-10 p.m. or 3-11 p.m.), the PM Prep Cook plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the kitchen is efficient, organized, and well-stocked. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and dependable, contributing to the smooth operation of the culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for members and guests.

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for evening à la carte service and banquet functions (cutting, portioning, sauces, stocks, etc.)
  • Assist with basic cooking tasks and production for dinner service
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep areas, walk-ins, and storage areas
  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality
  • Properly label, date, and rotate products according to food safety standards
  • Assist with kitchen setup for service and support line cooks as needed
  • Help with end-of-shift cleaning and organization
