The Westin RDU/Brier Creek is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals for the role of cook in the Food and Beverage (F&B) department. This opening is designed for both entry-level candidates eager to launch their careers and experienced cooks looking to bring their skills to a vibrant setting. The positions available include one part-time role requiring availability 3-4 days a week and one full-time role that involves working from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. This schedule necessitates weekend availability, emphasizing the role's importance during peak dining periods.

Job Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or food service experience is highly desirable
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and willing to engage guests in conversation
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
  • Clean background check and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and Turbo Chef
  • Ability to handle comments and suggestions
  • Micros knowledge highly desired
  • Fine dining experience
  • ServSafe certified a plus

Job Duties

  • Responsible for delivering products of the highest quality in terms of freshness, taste and adhering to all food safety guidelines
