Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • food handlers certification
  • previous kitchen experience preferred
  • ability to work weekdays and weekends from 3 pm to 11 pm
  • ability to follow directions and adhere to safety guidelines
  • physical ability to perform duties including lifting, crouching, stooping, twisting, and standing for long periods
  • strong personal cleanliness
  • professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • assist in the proper utilization of excess food product for lowest possible attainable food cost
  • set up and maintain stock of food preparation line
  • prepare food as required
  • assist with banquet food preparations
  • attend required meetings
  • keep work areas clean and organized
  • be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
  • report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
  • maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions
  • follow plate presentations and preparations of all menu items
  • follow directions and recipes
  • follow safety guidelines
  • maintain professional behavior
  • work under pressure in a fast paced environment
