This full-time permanent position at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi's Food & Beverage - Culinary department welcomes dedicated individuals passionate about upholding high standards of cleanliness and efficiency within a professional kitchen environment. The role offers an hourly wage starting from $17.00 and is designed for those who can work between 30 to 40 hours per week. This position is essential to ensuring seamless dining experiences for guests by managing the setup of wares for dining outlets and banquets, washing soiled utensils, transporting supplies, and assisting with plating meals. Critical responsibilities also include maintaining and cleaning dishwashing and kitchen equipment, organizing workstations, monitoring chemical usage, and adhering to established sanitation protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations. Employees are expected to maintain positive guest relations and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient culinary environment. The job requires the ability to work day and evening shifts and mandates a valid current Food Handlers Certificate.

Job Duties
- Set up wares for dining outlets and banquets
- retrieve and wash soiled wares
- transport supplies and food to service areas
- assist kitchen with plating up of banquet meals
- clean and maintain equipment in dishwashing, kitchen, cafeteria, compactor, and storage areas
- assist in washing pots, pans and other kitchen utensils/equipment
- maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- ensure standards are maintained daily
- maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- maintain positive guest relations
- monitor cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas
- use correct cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations
- set up and organize work station with designated supplies and equipment
- check and rectify dishwashing machine working condition
- fill dishwashing machine with specified chemicals and temperature settings
- organize breakdown area for dirty wares
- remove excess debris from wares before dishwashing
- position wares correctly and run machine only when full
- clean only designated wares
- allow wares to air dry
- inspect cleanliness of washed wares and rewash if needed
- sort, stack and store cleaned wares
- handle wares carefully to prevent breakage
- change dishwashing machine water and filters
- monitor usage of machine and chemicals
- maintain cleanliness of garbage disposal
- breakdown and clean dishwashing machine and work areas
- clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment
- stock kitchen lines with cleaned wares
- clean spills immediately
- use designated chemicals and equipment to clean floor surfaces
- maintain cleanliness of supply/storage closets
- transport garbage containers to dumpster and clean
- clean garbage compactor
- fill burnishing machine with chemicals and water
- burnish and polish silver wares
- remove debris from silver before polishing
- load silver into burnishing machine and burnish according to specs
- breakdown and clean burnishing machine
- stack plated meals in hot carts and transport to banquet functions
- remove soiled wares from kitchen line and transport to dishwashing
- clean associate cafeteria
- assist dishwasher in breaking down trays and carts from banquet service area
