We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary Supervisor to join the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach team. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for food, strong leadership capabilities, and a drive to innovate within a culinary environment. As a Culinary Supervisor, you will manage the kitchen food service operations, collaborate closely with a talented team of culinary professionals, and maintain a hands-on approach to cooking and supervision. The position involves overseeing and coordinating the activities of the culinary staff to ensure all meals meet the highest quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will manage inventory alongside controlling food costs while developing and implementing new menu items that align with the resort’s culinary vision.

Ideal candidates for the Culinary Supervisor position will have demonstrated success as cooks and supervisors, capable of working efficiently in both a la carte and banquet settings. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting kitchen operations, influencing team speed and accuracy, and promoting cleanliness and organization that contribute positively to the overall kitchen health. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage industry
  • 6 months to 1 year supervisory experience
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with public and team members
  • fluent in English
  • knowledge of wine and fine food helpful

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • at least six months to one year in a supervisory role
  • knowledge of wine and fine food
  • fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
