Job Requirements

- Able to reach approximately 7 feet high to move product
- Physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant
- Able to view products and determine adherence to quality control standards
- Able to read, comprehend, and practice necessary safety procedures and signs

Job Duties
- Move product stacks or racks from packaging lines to the appropriate trailer or staging area
- Organize product staging areas and lanes to facilitate efficient loading
- Load products from the staging area to trailers, ensuring proper stacking and preventing shipment of damaged goods
- Remove out-of-code products, check date and price codes regularly and label accordingly
- Keep floor areas, including Bond St. Platform, private label dock, D-Center loading area, and empty tray area, clean and organized
- Serve as a break person for other shipping employees on various lines and/or platforms
- Work on the platform, including unloading inbound purchased products
- Complete paperwork like load sheets and block sheets with accuracy and neatness
- Perform trailer checks including sweeping and checking for damage, submitting information to the department manager
- Inform supervisors in advance of the floor inventory of empty trays and other equipment
- Communicate with packaging employees to ensure accurate product counts on each truck, reconciling trailer paperwork to packaging wrap sheets
