Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
- current LPN or LVN license or certification in the state of employment
- current CPR and AED certification
- fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- complete FDA approved training for Medical Support Specialist
- minimum two years clinical or hospital setting experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of a recognized educational nursing program, currently licensed or certified as LPN or LVN in the state of employment, current CPR and AED certification, completed FDA approved training for Medical Support Specialist, minimum two years clinical or hospital experience
Job Duties
- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results, evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies as per SOPs, refer medical issues and unacceptable findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs, support employee vaccination programs, manage employee incidents and coordinate further medical evaluation as required
