Job Requirements
- Colorado DFS First Responder Certification or Advanced First Aid Certification
- valid Colorado driver’s license
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years in related field preferred
- Colorado EMT-B, EMT-I or EMT-P preferred
- essential physical abilities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, talking to communicate, speaking over public address system, and hearing
- vision to operate firefighting equipment and vehicles
- ability to exert forces up to 100 pounds
- ability to work in extreme conditions including exposure to noise, vibrations, heat, cold, fire hazards, electric currents, chemicals, oils, and lubricants
- ability to use respirator or self-contained air support system as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years in related field preferred
- Colorado DFS First Responder Certification or Advanced First Aid Certification
- preferred Colorado EMT-B, EMT-I or EMT-P
- valid Colorado driver’s license
- ability to work in extreme environmental conditions
- ability to exert forces up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
- strong communication skills
- ability to operate firefighting and emergency equipment
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Protect company high-value risk assets by conducting thorough patrols of the facility and high-value production areas during each shift
- limit access to the facility to persons in possession of company-issued IDs and perform frequent vehicle and bag inspections
- respond promptly to all incidents and direct plant personnel during emergencies
- produce complete and timely security incident reports in accordance with company policy and post orders
- treat confidential proprietary, personnel, trade secret, and sensitive information to prevent unauthorized disclosure
- perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel
- assist in fire and safety inspections, use and direct firefighting equipment, maintain fire extinguishers, and maintain housekeeping in and around the fire station
- utilize and maintain machines, equipment, and materials including motor vehicles, firefighting, respiratory, and medical equipment, fire alarm monitors, two-way radios, computer, telephone, and safety equipment
- assume and carry out other plant protection duties as required
