With ownership and operation of over 175 clubs across diverse regions including California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ontario, and the Atlantic Provinces in Canada, Taymax Group is recognized as one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisees within the Planet Fitness system. The company is backed by Trilantic North America, a prominent New York-based private equity firm managing $9.9 billion in aggregate capital commitments. This solid financial backing combined with strategic expansion plans positions Taymax Group for continued double-digit growth and industry leadership over the next five years. Taymax Group's corporate office is located in Salem, New Hampshire and the company has received prestigious accolades such as Developer of the Year in 2016, 2018, and 2019, and Franchisee of the Year in 2018, underscoring its operational excellence and commitment to quality.

The Club Manager role at Taymax Group represents a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all gym operations to deliver an exceptional and welcoming Judgement Free member experience while ensuring the financial success of the club. This full-time management opportunity involves leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team comprising Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians within a dynamic fitness environment. The Club Manager drives a culture of positive motivation and continuous improvement, emphasizing superior customer service, employee development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and training staff, ensuring exceptional member services through a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining facility cleanliness and safety standards. The manager will be hands-on in front desk operations, member interactions including tours and sign-ups, and resolving member concerns promptly and effectively. Additionally, the role entails staff management duties such as scheduling, payroll administration, conflict resolution, and enforcement of company policies, including progressive discipline and terminations if required.

Operational oversight extends to marketing efforts, budget approvals, banking responsibilities, and HR documentation, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and standards. The Club Manager also plays a key role in tracking club performance metrics and providing backup support for absent employees, demonstrating versatility and commitment to team success. Physical demands of the role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, reflecting the active and hands-on nature of the position.

This role is ideal for candidates passionate about fitness and health management, possessing leadership capabilities, a customer-centric approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering inclusive and diverse workplace culture. Taymax Group embraces equal opportunity employment and strives to maintain an environment that supports diversity in all aspects, ensuring fairness and respect for all employees and candidates.
