Taymax Group, LP is a prominent multi-unit franchisee of Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing fitness club franchisors and operators across North America. Taymax owns and operates over 175 clubs across multiple states including California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, as well as locations in Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces of Canada. With plans to double its club count over the next five years, Taymax continues to establish itself as one of the fastest-growing franchisees within the Planet Fitness system, consistently achieving double-digit growth annually. Backed by Trilantic North America, a New York-based private equity firm managing $9.9 billion in capital commitments, the company solidly positions itself for ongoing expansion and operational excellence. Taymax has also been recognized industry-wide for its outstanding performance, earning awards such as Developer of the Year in 2016, 2018, and 2019, along with Franchisee of the Year in 2018. The corporate office is located in Salem, New Hampshire, supporting its expansive network of clubs.

The Floating Club Manager at Taymax Group will oversee gym operations to deliver an exceptional member experience within the renowned Planet Fitness "Judgement Free Zone," which focuses on inclusivity and non-intimidating fitness environments. This role involves complete operational management with a strong emphasis on financial success and customer satisfaction. The manager will lead a diverse team—comprising assistant managers, member service representatives, trainers, and custodians—fostering an encouraging work environment that prioritizes employee growth, continuous training, and development.

Key responsibilities include recruiting and hiring high-performing staff, maintaining a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all club members and guests, managing schedules and payroll, resolving employee and member issues, and ensuring facility cleanliness and safety. This role demands hands-on leadership by example, with the manager being actively involved in front-desk activities such as greeting members, assisting with memberships, handling member requests, and promoting club events and marketing efforts. The manager also oversees club maintenance, marketing promotions, financial transactions, and HR documentation to ensure smooth daily operations. Additional duties include tracking club performance statistics and providing backup support to employees when necessary.

This full-time role is ideal for a candidate with a passion for fitness and health, along with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The Floating Club Manager will be a key contributor to fostering a positive culture aligned with Planet Fitness's mission of providing a high-quality fitness experience in a friendly, non-judgmental environment. Taymax Group values diversity and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and making accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process. The company emphasizes integrity and transparency, issuing warnings against hiring scams and outlining their commitment to safeguarding applicants' personal information.
