Job Requirements
- Culinary training or relevant cooking experience
- prior experience as a pizzaiolo or similar role preferred
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in pizza-making techniques including dough preparation stretching and baking
- ability to develop new pizza recipes and adapt to changing customer tastes and trends
- strong focus on quality and presentation
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple orders and tasks simultaneously
- effective communication with team members and customers
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas using various techniques including traditional wood-fired methods
- make dough and select fresh ingredients
- apply toppings creatively and precisely
- maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- ensure each pizza meets restaurant specifications and customer expectations
- collaborate closely with kitchen staff servers and management to ensure efficient service and communication
