Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- minimum 2 years related experience and/or culinary training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- ability to stoop, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear
- ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- working knowledge of all kitchen equipment and kitchen knives
- ensure functionality, safety and proper use of kitchen equipment
- knowledgeable of sanitation practices to ensure standards and regulations are followed
- advanced knowledge of weights, measures, and mixing techniques
- able to use oral, written and reading communication skills of the English language
- able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- able to work in close quarters or small rooms
- occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions
- well groomed with proper personal hygiene
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 2 years related experience and/or culinary training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- working knowledge of quality food and food preparation
- positive attitude in training and working with others
- knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to read and follow production sheets and recipes
- strong oral, written and reading communication skills in English
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare handcrafted pizza for customers eat in, pick-up, and delivery
- assist with operating all kitchen equipment
- maintain the kitchen and show area
- cook other restaurant menu items
- package food items
- ensure pizza presentation is appropriate for customer consumption
- maintain appropriate temperature and freshness of food
- follow all OSHA, ServSafe and HACCP standards
- assist in other Food & Beverage venues as needed
- read recipes and measure ingredients accurately
- monitor and observe guests dining experience
- handle, store and rotate all products properly
- complete opening and closing checklists
- report to supervisor on arrival and when leaving
- maintain good personal hygiene and grooming
- attend scheduled meetings and participate with suggestions
- train newer kitchen employees as experience grows
