Pizza Inn - KG LLC is currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join their family-oriented team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and food safety that guests expect from Pizza Inn. The compensation for this position starts at $7.75 per hour and is negotiable based on experience. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic fast-casual restaurant environment where teamwork, communication, and a passion for excellent food are valued.

As a Cook, you will be trained to perform a range of tasks associated with food preparation, adhering closely to Pizza Inn’s Portion Control Chart and FIFO (first in, first out) rotation systems. You will ensure that all food items meet the brand’s standards for freshness, taste, appearance, and temperature. The position demands an individual who values cleanliness and organization — following the 'clean as you go' policy is a must to maintain an efficient and safe workspace. You will also learn to operate kitchen equipment effectively, manage inventory by restocking and label prepping items correctly, and contribute to minimizing waste and controlling food costs.

This role involves working closely with other departments and demonstrating a guest-oriented focus at all times. Communication skills and a sense of urgency will help you excel as you navigate busy service periods. As part of your duties, you will prepare specialty pizzas correctly using scales for portioning, follow baking procedures with precision, and help with opening and closing the food station properly. Your contribution will directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall success of the franchise.
