The Delivery Driver position is essential for ensuring that goods reach their intended destinations promptly and safely. The role involves operating delivery vehicles such as vans and trucks, navigating assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Delivery Drivers must be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading products, some of which may require the use of equipment like pallet jacks for heavy items. Maintaining delivery records accurately is also a key part of the role, helping to track shipments and confirm deliveries with clients. Additionally, the driver will perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure all vehicles are in excellent working condition and report any issues promptly to prevent delays. Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
Ability to navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS technology
Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

Job Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles including vans and trucks to transport goods to designated locations
Load and unload products efficiently ensuring all items are secured for transport
Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients
Maintain accurate records of deliveries including tracking information and delivery confirmations
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading heavy items when necessary
