The role of Pizza Line Cook at Bear Tooth Theatrepub is both dynamic and essential to the overall dining experience of the establishment's guests. This position focuses primarily on the preparation and creation of high-quality, flavorful pizzas in accordance with the company's established recipes and individual customer preferences. Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  • Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 plus lbs
  • Ability to work in hot and humid environments
  • Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to multitask and retain multiple called ticket items
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology and knife skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Duties

  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • Read printed tickets carefully with attention to detail
  • Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications
  • Monitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Proper handling and rotation of food according to food service codes
  • Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
  • Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
  • Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed
  • Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
