Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is a renowned family-owned American Chinese restaurant company founded in Glendale, California, in 1983. It has grown to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, operating nearly 2,300 locations worldwide. The group is committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering an organizational culture that inspires its employees to improve their lives. Panda emphasizes the importance of family values, community engagement, and equal opportunity employment practices. The company continuously strives to maintain an inclusive and diverse workplace where employees are respected irrespective of gender, race, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.

This fall, Panda Restaurant Group is excited to introduce a vibrant multi-concept venue on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. This unique dining destination will bring together three exceptional brands under one roof: WHATABURGER, Parry’s Pizzeria & TapHouse, and the Whiskey Union Bourbon Bar on the mezzanine level. The venue promises to offer guests a rich blend of craveable, high-quality food options with an energetic and friendly atmosphere. The company is actively seeking high-energy, positive, and customer-oriented individuals to join their team and contribute to delivering unforgettable hospitality experiences.

The role of Pizza Cook at this dynamic venue is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, particularly in the fast-paced restaurant industry. This position offers consistent hours, flexible scheduling, and the potential to earn competitive pay, ranging from $18 to $21 per hour, depending on location and experience. Employees will have the unique experience of working in a multi-brand environment, gaining exposure to different culinary traditions and customer service styles. The Pizza Cook will primarily be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas made from scratch, including stretching dough, adding toppings to high standards of quality, and ensuring all food items meet the necessary safety and sanitation standards. The role demands excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation in line with customer orders and a strong ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.

Working in this fast-paced and energetic restaurant setting requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, and a flexible, coachable attitude. The Pizza Cook will also learn and adhere to industry best practices for food preparation and safety, store and label items correctly, and maintain a clean and efficient workstation. This job is physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a high-temperature environment with noise levels typical of busy kitchens. It is a fantastic career opportunity for those seeking growth in the culinary field, as the company offers ongoing paid training, career and leadership development, and chances to move into management positions.

Panda Restaurant Group takes pride in providing a supportive and inclusive work environment. Apart from competitive pay and flexible scheduling, full-time associates have access to comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, short-term disability, cancer income protection, flexible spending accounts, and a 401K plan with company match. Additional perks include free meals during shifts, vacation and sick leave, associate discounts across various brands, referral bonuses, and a leave share program. The company is dedicated to accommodating employees' needs and complies with ADA regulations to ensure all applicants and employees can fully participate in the hiring process and their roles with necessary accommodations.

Joining the Panda Restaurant Group family means becoming part of a company that values its employees and the communities they serve. By fostering a workplace built on respect, opportunity, and exceptional service standards, Panda ensures that team members experience uncommon hospitality at its finest while advancing their careers in a vibrant multi-concept foodservice environment on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.
