Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role
- valid SNHD food handling card
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- excellent attendance and reliability
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- capacity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a pizza cook or similar role
- proven skills in dough making, hand stretching, and topping preparation
- knowledge of various pizza styles such as Neapolitan, New York, Sicilian
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- strong work ethic and attention to detail
- possess valid SNHD food handling card
- culinary training or certification
- experience with specialty diets such as gluten-free, vegan options
- passion for high-quality ingredients and customer service
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pizzas using both classic and creative recipes
- make fresh dough, sauces, and toppings daily
- operate wood-fired, brick, or conveyor ovens with precision
- maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation per SNHD guidelines
- work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality
- monitor ingredient stock and assist with inventory and ordering
- collaborate with the kitchen team and management to improve recipes and service
- train and mentor junior staff as needed
