Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, ensures food is at proper temperature and appealing
  • Uses established ticketing procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensures proper storage of food and supplies
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as directed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Reports maintenance or safety issues immediately
  • Attends safety and in-service meetings
  • Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs job safely maintaining a clean and secure work environment
  • Follows HACCP standards ensuring portion control and food presentation
  • Uses protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
