Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in high-volume pizza or quick-service kitchen preferred
- Familiarity with deck ovens and managing quick bake cycles preferred
- Basic knife and prep skills and comfort working during peak service times preferred
- Interest in hospitality culture, craft cocktails, and Night Owl’s skateboard-inspired vibe preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook New York-style pizza slices and whole pies to Night Owl recipes and portion standards
- Operate and monitor deck ovens, adjust times/temperatures, and maintain consistent product quality
- Manage a fast-moving pizza line during busy shifts—assemble, bake, slice, and finish orders quickly and accurately
- Keep prep stations stocked: sauce, toppings, dough, and garnishes
- assist with daily prep tasks as assigned
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols to keep the kitchen clean and safe
- Assist with receiving and basic inventory counts
- rotate stock and label products per guidelines
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house teammates to coordinate ticket flow and special orders
