AQFS is currently hiring for an hourly, non-exempt cleaning position located at 807 Camp Horn Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Candidates should be aware that access to the location may require a 45-minute walk from the last bus stop, so reliable transportation is essential. The company requires employees to wear a uniform, emphasizing a professional presentation in all work environments. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises, including various rooms and common areas. Employees can perform duties collectively as part of a team or focus on specific tasks depending on the assignment. The primary responsibility of the cleaning team member is to keep the building's premises clean and orderly. This includes polishing fixtures, surfaces, and trims, maintaining cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeterias, locker rooms, and other designated areas. The role involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and potentially buffing floors in some of the facilities. Additionally, cleaning duties extend to rugs, mats, furniture, and equipment, as well as washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Waste management duties such as emptying trash bins, wastebaskets, and transporting waste to disposal areas are also part of the job functions.
