The position of Pitmaster / Meat Cutter is a critical role within Jim N Nicks Bar-B-Q’s kitchen operations. This role is tailored for individuals who have previous experience as a Pitmaster, Meat Cutter, Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef, and who are passionate about maintaining the highest standards in barbecue preparation. The Pitmaster / Meat Cutter is responsible for managing the execution of the pit and meat operations, ensuring the quality of smoked meats, and maintaining adherence to process, food safety, and sanitation standards. This includes hands-on use and proficiency with smokers and equipment, managing inventory and waste in the pit and meat areas, and delivering brand excellence through consistent, high-quality food.
