Job Requirements
- Experience leading crews in underground water, sewer or storm utilities installation
- Knowledge of trenching and shoring techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and pipe charts
- Operation of excavators and loaders
- Strong safety mindset
- Positive, professional attitude
- Must pass background check, drug screen and driving record review
- Commitment to continuous improvement and team development
- Willingness to maintain a culture of safety and respect
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience laying underground water, sewer or storm utilities
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Skilled in proper installation procedures for various pipe types
- Ability to interpret plans and blueprints
- Leadership and crew management experience
- Ability to operate heavy machinery
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety and teamwork
Job Duties
- Lead and develop pipe crew to install water, sewer and storm utilities
- Plan and prepare project work effectively
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and installation procedures
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and front-end loaders
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and pipe restraint joint charts
- Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Communicate plans clearly and maintain crew morale and safety culture
