The role of PIO Driver at Ole involves a critical function within the company’s transport and logistics operations. This position is responsible for the timely and safe transportation of company staff, products, and materials to various locations. The PIO Driver plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth flow of day-to-day activities by efficiently managing transport duties such as picking up and dropping off staff, collecting packages, and ensuring the company vehicle is kept in good condition at all times. A key responsibility is maintaining an accurate travel log that records work hours, travel routes, and vehicle usage. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable to ensure transportation assignments are carried out without delays. The PIO Driver must have strong knowledge of local roads, GPS, and navigation tools, enabling optimal route adjustments to avoid traffic congestion. Job Duties
- Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance
- Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management
