Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 500 hours flying time in powered aircraft
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command time
- Minimum 200 hours multi-engine flying time
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- Ability to acquire FAA Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate within 12 months of employment
- Physical ability to perform flight duties and maintenance tasks
- Capacity to work irregular hours and tolerate noise
- Pass physical and physical ability assessments specific to the position
Job Qualifications

- Strong mathematical skills for navigational calculations
Job Duties
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on TRA airplane when directed by the Chief Pilot
- Responsible for pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft
- Maintain aircraft inspection and maintenance records
- Manage shop equipment, tools, and spare parts inventory
- Perform maintenance duties as detailed in the Aircraft Operations Manual
- Communicate effectively with TRA directors and public officials
- Respond quickly during flight preparation and operational procedures
