Job Description
The Tri-River Authority (TRA) is a public agency committed to managing water resources effectively and supporting local communities through various infrastructure and environmental initiatives. The Authority operates a fleet of aircraft to facilitate its mission, enabling transportation and aerial operations critical to its projects and oversight activities.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- five hundred hours flying time in powered aircraft including 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command time
- 200 hours of multi-engine flying time
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings
- current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- must acquire FAA Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate within 12 months of employment
- physical agility to enter aircraft and perform required tasks
- ability to work irregular hours and in inclement weather
- willingness to comply with TRA mission and policies
- pass physical and physical ability assessments specific to the position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- knowledge of aircraft operation, inspection, and maintenance
- strong concentration and decision-making skills
- excellent mathematical abilities for navigation and performance calculations
Job Duties
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on the TRA airplane when directed by the Chief Pilot
- conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the Authority's aircraft
- maintain inspection and maintenance records for the aircraft
- manage shop equipment, tools, and spare parts inventory
- perform maintenance tasks according to Aircraft Operations Manual
- comply with safety and operational guidelines
- coordinate with TRA management and officials as required
