Job Requirements

  • Completed private pilot certificate
  • Current flight training or active flight instructing experience
  • Passed no more than three check rides
  • Clean safety record without negligent accidents or incidents
  • Ability to secure First-Class Medical certificate
  • Valid passport holder
  • Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Fulfill ATP or restricted ATP flight hour requirements
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Proficient English communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Private pilot certificate
  • Current flight student or certified flight instructor actively instructing
  • No more than three check ride failures
  • No NTSB-determined negligent accidents or incidents
  • Ability to obtain a First-Class Medical certificate
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport
  • Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Meet ATP or restricted ATP hours and qualifications
  • Cadet eligibility based on flight hours criteria
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing

Job Duties

  • Complete private pilot certificate and transition to cadet program
  • Participate in mentorship and internship opportunities
  • Successfully navigate multi-stage interview process including HR, technical, and instructor evaluations
  • Attend and complete ATP-CTP course with provided accommodations
  • Build flight hours to meet ATP or R-ATP minimums
  • Transition seamlessly to first officer role with PSA Airlines
  • Upgrade to American Airlines mainline pilot position without additional interviews
