Job Requirements

  • must be board certified or board eligible
  • residents and practicing physicians are welcome to apply
  • able to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on site and 2 days remote
  • able to provide inpatient psychiatric care
  • willing to relocate to hopkinsville, kentucky
  • malpractice coverage provided
  • minimal to no call duties

Job Qualifications

  • MD in Psychiatry or equivalent medical degree
  • board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
  • valid medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Kentucky
  • experience with inpatient psychiatric care preferred
  • strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a hybrid schedule environment

Job Duties

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care
  • manage patient assessments and treatment plans
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
  • maintain accurate medical records
  • participate in team meetings and case conferences
  • comply with hospital policies and Joint Commission standards
