The Physician Marketing Manager position within Tenet Physician Resources is designed to advance Tenet’s evolution toward a consumer-focused healthcare model. Reporting directly to the National Director of Physician Marketing, this role emphasizes the importance of collaboration, relationship building, and the strategic implementation of marketing initiatives that support service line growth in a highly dynamic healthcare environment. The manager works in close conjunction with local TPR leadership, hospital marketing teams, and communications directors to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the broader vision of TSMG and the Tenet Operating System.
The Physician Marketing Manager's primary responsibility is to craft and communicate compelling narratives that highlight the positive impact employed healthcare providers have on their patients and communities. Utilizing a blend of storytelling, writing, editing, and digital engagement skills, this role ensures that the TPR brand maintains strong visibility and engagement within targeted markets. It involves managing integrated marketing campaigns and communication programs that span traditional media, digital platforms, social media, email, websites, newsletters, and public relations to effectively reach both internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to strategic marketing execution, the role requires proficiency in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of marketing strategies and ensure measurable growth. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in communications and marketing or related field
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills
- Ability to build productive relationships internally and externally
- Experience with digital marketing tools and social media
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced degree in business or public sector equivalent, marketing/communications, or health related field preferred
- Exceptional writer and communicator with clear, concise style
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in communications and marketing or similar roles
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in storytelling, writing, and editing across multiple platforms
- Experience with direct to consumer engagement and digital platforms
- Skilled in managing integrated communications programs and complex priorities
