Job Requirements

Must be board certified or eligible in ABEM or AOBEM
Completion of emergency medicine residency training
Ability to work in Baltimore and travel to select emergency departments in the Northeast
Availability for blocked shift schedules
Willingness to obtain or hold necessary licenses and DEA registrations
Strong clinical competency in emergency medicine
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in assigned emergency departments
Manage patient care during blocked shifts ensuring timely and efficient treatment
Collaborate with healthcare teams and hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with emergency medicine practices
Support and uphold TeamHealth's patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Adhere to licensure and credentialing requirements while practicing in designated states
