Job Description

BRIOworks is a distinguished provider of proactive physical therapy and health performance solutions designed to help individuals move better, live stronger, and perform at their highest levels. As part of BRIO Physical Therapy Health Performance, BRIOworks operates with a mission to partner directly with businesses, providing services that go well beyond the traditional insurance-based care model. The company is strongly committed to clinical excellence, professional growth, and fostering a collaborative culture where Physical Therapists are empowered to practice at the top of their license. With a focus on prevention, movement optimization, and long-term results, BRIOworks creates meaningful relationships with the employees they serve, making a lasting impact on their health and well-being.

The position open at BRIOworks is for a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to operate in a unique concierge-style consultant role within corporate wellness settings. This role involves providing on-site visits to employees at partner worksites, primarily within the manufacturing industry, located within about two hours of the therapist's home. It offers flexible employment options, both part-time (10-20 hours per week) and full-time roles, with part-time work organized around one or two full days of on-site consultations weekly. The PT will travel to approximately 4 client locations per year, with each engagement focusing on first-aid-level evaluations, early intervention guidance, and clinical triage. The goal is to address musculoskeletal issues early, provide informal consults, and facilitate referrals to local providers for medical care or formal PT when needed.

This position is ideal for Physical Therapists seeking autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to build strong professional relationships without the demands of direct patient care. The PT will support employees at worksites with employee populations ranging from 50 to 250, working across diverse functional roles. The nature of the job highlights a balance between clinical judgment, employee engagement, and travel to multiple sites. Compensation for this 1099 contract position is $400 per day, approximately 8-10 hours per day including travel time, with travel expenses reimbursed. While this role does not include a traditional benefits package due to its contract nature, the company encourages certification support focused on occupational and direct-to-employer specialties.

The work schedule is flexible and based on the therapist's availability and client needs, commonly structured around a 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. timeframe at client sites. Reliable transportation is essential, as travel to client locations within two hours of the therapist's residence is required, along with occasional travel to New Orleans for internal team meetings. This opportunity represents a compelling career path for PTs passionate about workplace wellness and prevention, offering a unique blend of clinical autonomy, travel, and corporate engagement with competitive daily compensation.
