Job Description
BRIOworks is a dynamic and innovative healthcare company specializing in physical therapy and health performance solutions. They partner with businesses to provide proactive care that emphasizes prevention, movement optimization, and long-term health outcomes beyond the scope of traditional insurance-based services. Their approach focuses on delivering personalized care that fosters strong patient relationships and supports employees in maintaining their physical well-being. Located in Dallas, TX, BRIOworks prides itself on its collaborative culture, commitment to clinical excellence, and dedication to professional growth for Physical Therapists. The company empowers its therapists to practice at the top of their license, embrace autonomy, and make meaningful impacts within their roles.
The position available is for a full-time Physical Therapist who will serve as a concierge-style consultant, supporting employees at approximately 20 partner company worksites primarily within the manufacturing industry. This hybrid role combines travel and virtual work-from-home sessions, requiring the therapist to visit client sites about four times a year and conduct virtual consults in between. The key focus is on early intervention, first-aid level evaluations, and clinical triage to help employees manage musculoskeletal issues before they become severe, making referrals to formal treatment providers when necessary.
This unique role offers variety, autonomy, and relationship building rather than direct ongoing patient care. The Physical Therapist will interact closely with clients across different industries, providing consultative support, engaging employees through informal visits, and helping to grow a rapidly expanding service line within BRIOworks. Scheduled hours are flexible within a remote work window and also involve some travel-related hours dedicated to on-site client visits. Travel to company meetings and client locations will comprise approximately 25-33% of the workload, with full reimbursement of expenses and autonomy in travel arrangements.
Compensation for this role includes a salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, with the addition of a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, a flexible schedule, and certification support. Candidates should be licensed Physical Therapists residing near major airport hubs and possess a minimum of three years of experience, preferably in outpatient orthopedics or occupational health. The role demands strong clinical judgment, red/yellow flag awareness, excellent communication skills with employees and leadership, and a willingness to travel frequently. Additional qualifications like OCS certification and Spanish language skills are considered advantageous.
Overall, this position at BRIOworks presents an intriguing opportunity for Physical Therapists who seek a balance between clinical expertise and consultant engagement while maintaining flexibility and a focus on preventative care within a supportive and growing organization.
