The company embraces diversity and inclusion, offering equal opportunity employment and supporting individuals with disabilities as part of its commitment to fully integrated workforce participation. This dedication is also reflected in their adherence to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The position offered is a Seasonal Photo Team Manager role starting June 29, 2026, available in a hybrid work setup combining remote and onsite responsibilities at various school locations. Candidates must reside in Springfield, MA, or the surrounding cities. This role offers a competitive hourly pay of $28 to $30 and a full-time status with eligibility for healthcare benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance. The seasonal work spans from June through November, with possible extension into December depending on event schedules, presenting an average of over 30 work hours per week and opportunities for overtime pay during peak periods. Paid training is provided, including a 3-day paid "Train the Trainer" session at JostensPIX headquarters in Minnesota and virtual training sessions. No prior photography experience is necessary, making it accessible to motivated individuals looking to grow their leadership and operational skills.
As a Photo Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of photographers dedicated to capturing memorable school moments for K-12 students and their families. Your role blends leadership, training, logistics, and direct event management to ensure every school photo day operates smoothly and efficiently. You will handle tasks such as scheduling photographers, overseeing equipment logistics, partnering with HR for hiring, managing communication between photographers and school contacts, and attending or leading weekly virtual team meetings. Additionally, you will monitor adherence to JostensPIX photography protocols and provide hands-on support during peak photography events as needed. A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within the assigned hub to various schools are essential aspects of the position. This role demands excellent leadership and communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and physical stamina to manage and support a busy, dynamic photo team environment effectively.
Working with Jostens means joining a supportive, goal-driven team that values your success and rewards your hard work with competitive pay and benefits. Employees enjoy the DailyPay option for immediate compensation, paid travel time and mileage, healthcare benefits, a 401K plan with immediate vesting, and voluntary benefits such as insurance discounts and travel perks. Jostens fosters a positive workplace culture where professional appearance and reliable communication are encouraged, ensuring the company maintains its respected corporate image and excellent service quality. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about leadership, photography, and event operations to make a meaningful impact while developing their career in a trusted, well-established company.
