Job Requirements
- Reside in Springfield, MA or surrounding cities
- complete additional background and health screenings as required by state policies
- ability to travel to various school locations within assigned hub
- willing to work a seasonal schedule from June through November, with possible extension
- valid driver’s license with access to reliable and insured vehicle
- physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
- reliable communication tools including cell phone and internet
- commitment to professional appearance
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- flexible availability including early mornings and evenings
Job Qualifications
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- proven leadership experience managing teams
- exceptional communication skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- tech-savvy and quick learner of new programs
- physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain energy during busy days
- valid driver’s license with access to a reliable insured vehicle
- professional appearance and demeanor
- ability to interact positively with students of all ages
- reliable access to phone and internet
- flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and travel within assigned area
Job Duties
- Oversee and inspire a team of photographers during school photo days
- manage logistics including scheduling photographers for each event
- research and coordinate centralized storage for photography equipment
- oversee equipment organization, pickups, and end-of-season shipping
- partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire photographers
- ensure clear communication with photographers and school contacts about event details
- attend and lead weekly virtual team meetings
- manage photographer expenses, overtime, and travel needs
- provide hands-on support at peak events by working as a photographer or event lead
- ensure smooth operation of equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- travel to various school locations within the hub as required
