Job Description

Jostens is a renowned leader in the student commemoration market, proudly serving local communities for over 125 years. This established organization partners with thousands of K-12 schools, colleges, and universities annually, in addition to well-known sports teams and prestigious organizations across the United States. Jostens is recognized for its iconic products such as yearbooks, letter jackets, class jewelry, and championship rings, which keep cherished traditions alive while inspiring millions to celebrate their unique stories, milestone moments, and greatest achievements each year. The company operates across 13 first-class facilities located worldwide, from North America to the Caribbean, underscoring its extensive reach and commitment to quality and community involvement.

For individuals seeking a dynamic, seasonal role, Jostens currently offers an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Photo Team Manager based in Norman, OK or the surrounding areas. This hybrid position includes a combination of remote and onsite work at various school locations, starting June 29, 2026. As a Photo Team Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing school photography operations, ensuring that each school photo day is executed smoothly and efficiently. The role is highly suited for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a passion for photography and creating unforgettable moments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade and their families.

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $24.50 to $26.50 per hour, with an average workweek of over 30 hours and opportunities for overtime during peak weeks. Work is seasonal, spanning June through November, with the possibility of extension into December depending on event schedules. Employees benefit from full-time status eligibility for healthcare benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, providing a robust support system. Paid training is provided, and no previous photography experience is required, making this role accessible to motivated candidates eager to learn and grow. The company also offers a daily pay option through DailyPay, as well as voluntary benefits like discounts and access to insurance products and travel perks.

As a Photo Team Manager, you will oversee and inspire a team of photographers, managing everything from training logistics to event execution and employee management. Key responsibilities include conducting training sessions—both virtual and in-person—partnering with Training Specialists, scheduling and managing photographers for school events, handling equipment logistics, and serving as a hands-on leader during peak photography days. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead a team while adapting to the fast-changing school photography environment.

Candidates must demonstrate leadership experience, effective communication, and exceptional organizational capacity. A four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred. The role demands physical stamina to lift and carry equipment, flexibility for working varied hours including early mornings and evenings, and dependable transportation to travel within the assigned hub. A professional appearance, reliability in communication, and comfort working in school environments are essential. Background and health screenings may be required based on state policies.

Joining Jostens means becoming part of a supportive team that values success, rewards hard work, and invests in employees' futures through benefits like 401(k) matching. It’s a workplace where dedication is recognized in competitive compensation and where health and well-being are supported. This position is perfect for leaders passionate about photography and education, looking for seasonal flexibility coupled with meaningful impact. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
