The company partners with thousands of K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and esteemed organizations nationwide, helping celebrate milestone moments and unique stories through iconic products such as yearbooks, letter jackets, class jewelry, and championship rings. With 13 first-class facilities spanning North America to the Caribbean, Jostens maintains a strong commitment to tradition and quality. This deep-rooted heritage and expansive presence make Jostens a trusted name in school and event memorabilia, fostering pride and lasting memories for millions of people each year.

The company is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Seasonal Photo Team Manager to join their growing team in Minnetonka, MN, or surrounding areas. This hybrid position combines remote and onsite work at various school locations, offering a unique blend of flexibility and direct engagement. The role runs from June through November, with a possibility to extend into December depending on event schedules. Team managers enjoy competitive pay ranging from $27.50 to $29.50 per hour, full-time status eligibility for healthcare benefits, and an average workweek of 30+ hours with opportunities for overtime during peak periods. Additional perks include paid training and a daily pay option via DailyPay.

As a Seasonal Photo Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing school photography operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of photo days across multiple schools. Your leadership will guide a team of photographers who capture memorable moments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade and their families. This position is integral to maintaining high standards, seamless logistics management, and exceptional customer experience. The role requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational prowess, and hands-on involvement in training, scheduling, and event management.

The manager will coordinate extensive training efforts, including a 3-day paid "Train the Trainer" session at JostensPIX Headquarters in Minnesota, supplemented with virtual sessions to prepare the photography team thoroughly. You will identify local training sites, collaborate with Training Specialists to ensure your team is well-prepared, and provide ongoing guidance to new hires. Additionally, effective management of photo day logistics is crucial, encompassing the scheduling of photographers, handling equipment storage and pickups, and preparing gear for shipment at the season's end.

Employee management forms a core aspect of this role, requiring collaboration with the Human Resources team to conduct interviews, hire photographers, and directly manage their assignments and schedules. Clear communication with photographers and school contacts is essential, alongside enforcing company standards regarding attendance and performance. The Photo Team Manager will also be responsible for leading weekly virtual meetings, overseeing travel arrangements including hotel reservations, managing expenses, and approving necessary overtime.

The role offers a chance to stay actively engaged in the photography process, sometimes stepping in as a photographer or event lead to support during peak days. Technological aptitude is necessary for troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring flawless operations. You'll be expected to travel within your assigned hub and comfortably work in various school environments, interacting positively with students of all ages.

Ideal candidates will bring proven leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, an ability to multitask with great attention to detail, and physical stamina for handling gear weighing up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable insured vehicle are required, as is a professional appearance that reflects Jostens' corporate image. Local residency is necessary, and candidates may need to complete background or health screenings as dictated by state policies.

Joining Jostens means becoming part of a supportive, fun team dedicated to your success, offering competitive compensation with travel paid for both time and mileage, comprehensive healthcare benefits including health, dental and vision coverage, and a 401K match vested immediately. The company embraces diversity and inclusion under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), providing reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process and encouraging applications from all qualified individuals. Jostens is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to compliance with applicable employment laws.

This position accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled with a deadline for submission on June 15, 2026. Take the opportunity to grow with a company that values both tradition and innovation, and be a key player in creating joyful, lasting memories for students and communities nationwide.
