- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work per diem/on-call with variable shifts
- excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a hospital, medical office or related situation preferred

Job Duties
- Provide assistance in placing, receiving and relaying calls
- answer all incoming calls for providers, patients, visitors and the general public
- perform and respond to paging and code announcements
- provide assistance, directions and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital and patient information
- adhere to approved policies and procedures
- maintain professionalism and courtesy in all communications
- support the hospital communication system with accuracy and efficiency
