Job Requirements

  • ability to work per diem/on-call with variable shifts

  • Six months experience in a hospital, medical office or related situation preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide assistance in placing, receiving and relaying calls
  • answer all incoming calls for providers, patients, visitors and the general public
  • perform and respond to paging and code announcements
  • provide assistance, directions and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital and patient information
  • adhere to approved policies and procedures
  • maintain professionalism and courtesy in all communications
  • support the hospital communication system with accuracy and efficiency
