Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of Hospital Pharmacy Technician training or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician in NM within 60 days
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS provider or professional rescuer certification within 30 days
- 2 years of directly related experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Willingness to work in close proximity to incarcerated individuals
- Must obtain and maintain MDC security clearance
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols involving chemicals and biohazardous materials
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop, oversee and conduct routine and special audits
- Enter data into computer systems and verify accuracy
- Order medications and stock pharmacy shelves
- Coordinate medication-related issues for patients and staff
- Assist with maintenance of pharmacy software and hardware
- Attend professional meetings and stay updated on industry trends
- Assist with training new pharmacy technicians
