Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the SC Board of Pharmacy
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
- Knowledge of SCBOP, DHEC, and DEA regulations
- Proficient computer skills including data entry and use of office equipment
- Ability to handle stressful and urgent conditions
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the SC Board of Pharmacy
- One year experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
- Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to work well in team settings under stressful conditions
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Perform all technician functions specific to the assigned pharmacy space
- Conduct hazardous compounding during scheduled shifts
- Interpret and prepare medication orders including filling provider orders and automated dispensing cabinets
- Manage controlled substances in compliance with regulations
- Demonstrate proficiency with pharmacy-related technologies including automation and inventory management
- Provide shift or site technical leadership at designated acute care sites
- Deliver excellent customer service including timely communication and maintaining a clean work environment
