Job Requirements
- Current California Pharmacist license
- PharmD degree
- One year leadership experience
- Two years of sterile compounding including hazardous drugs experience
- Ability to set priorities accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
- Ability to travel to multiple infusion locations
- Valid automobile license and insurance
- Proficiency in EPIC preferred
- Prior California PIC experience preferred
- Prior oncology experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Current California Pharmacist license
- PharmD degree
- Ability to serve as a Designated Person and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge
- Minimum one year leadership experience
- Minimum two years of sterile compounding including hazardous drugs experience
- Ability to set priorities reflecting job responsibilities
- Skill to work independently and follow-through with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information using discretion
- Ability to travel between infusion locations for supervision and quality assurance
- Proficient in EPIC - preferred
- Prior California PIC experience - preferred
- Prior oncology experience - preferred
Job Duties
- Provide operational oversight of multiple ambulatory infusion pharmacy sites within assigned region
- Serve as Designated Person or Pharmacist in Charge for assigned locations
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of IV rooms in accordance with regulations
- Manage a team of pharmacists and technicians including leadership, support, training, and guidance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for preparation and delivery of medications
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of IV rooms to ensure adherence to standards
- Address and resolve patient or staff complaints related to IV room operations
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve operational issues
