Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of pharmacy mobile app and web functionality

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 16 years of age required
  • partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification required
  • typically involves on-the-job training

Job Duties

  • Receives prescription orders and enters prescription, insurance, and customer information into system
  • scans items and keys product codes, ensures correct check-out totals for customers, and maintains accurate money count in cash register drawer
  • maintains quality control by ensuring dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold
  • verifies orders received from Central Fill and suppliers
  • takes inventory and ensures stock levels are accurate
  • ensures filled prescriptions and bulk bottles of medications are organized properly
  • provides a friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering non-prescription questions, and responding to complaints
  • assists customers with locating and selecting products according to knowledge of over-the-counter items and recommendations from pharmacists
  • maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures
  • complies with all Company policies and procedures
