Job Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
preferably six months retail experience
prior Walgreens experience is a plus

Job Duties

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience
models and shares customer service best practices with team members
develops strong relationships with valuable customers
processes transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
recommends items for sale including trade-up and companion products
assists with OTC products and directs customers to aisles
operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status
reports prescription errors to pharmacist and follows company policies
maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
takes inventory and maintains records
implements asset protection procedures
ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
completes resets and revisions as directed
maintains store equipment knowledge
assists with maintaining a clean and orderly store environment
complies with all company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
completes special assignments and attends training sessions
completes PPLs requested by management or corporate
