- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- six months of experience in a retail environment preferred
- prior experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
- model and share customer service best practices with team members
- develop strong relationships with valuable customers
- operate cash register handling transactions including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- recommend items and assist customers with OTC products
- operate pharmacy systems to check prescription status
- report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist
- maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- check in and price merchandise as directed
- implement company asset protection procedures
- ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- construct and maintain promotional and seasonal displays
- assist with store cleanliness and maintenance
- comply with company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships
- complete special assignments as assigned
- attend training and complete personal development plans requested
