- High school diploma or equivalent
- PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Active Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Colorado (PHAT)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
Job Qualifications

- Active Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Colorado (PHAT)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Preferred experience in hospital or retail pharmacy
Job Duties
- Assist pharmacists in promoting an organized and functional pharmacy service
- Prepare medications for dispensing and maintain records
- Alert pharmacy director, manager, or pharmacist of immediate problems requiring corrective action in a timely manner
- Screen nursing and physician inquiries and phone calls by directing to appropriate pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Perform special projects, including training of new technicians and overseeing their activities
- Increase and improve level of service, skill level, and productivity
- Attend or participate in a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education biannually as required by national certification bodies
