Job Description
SWTO, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary and private fuel delivery fleet of 7-Eleven and SEI Fuels. As an integral part of the fuel distribution network, SWTO operates a formidable fleet consisting of over 200 power units, staffed by more than 450 professional drivers. Together, the team delivers approximately 1.8 billion gallons of various petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, and ethanol. These deliveries mainly cater to retail convenience stores and commercial fueling centers across multiple states, ensuring the consistent availability of fuel to communities and customers alike. The company prides itself on its emphasis on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, which are essential in the transportation and delivery of hazardous materials such as fuel. By complementing 7-Eleven's existing carrier portfolio, SWTO plays a vital role in the energy supply chain, supporting the everyday operations of fuel retailers and maintenance of commercial fleets.
The Petroleum Transport Driver role at SWTO is a full-time position focused on the safe and efficient transport of petroleum products. These drivers are essential in maintaining the flow of fuel to convenience stores and commercial clients, which directly supports both local economies and the wider transportation infrastructure. The role offers hourly PLU$ (Pay Level Upgrade) pay which ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, including overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. Additional incentives are offered for drivers with fuel hauling experience, night shift premiums, as well as miles and load pay that reward efficiency and dedication.
Drivers will receive comprehensive paid training to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards. The company supports drivers by providing coverage in medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, alongside benefits such as a 401k retirement plan, paid time off, a uniform allowance, quarterly bonuses, and fuel discounts. A significant advantage is the opportunity to be home daily, which provides a balanced work-life environment.
Applicants must have at least two years of Class A driving experience and hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. A TWIC card is also required for drivers operating in states such as Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia. The company prioritizes safety and compliance, requiring a clean driving record especially in regards to serious moving violations or faults related to DOT-recordable crashes within the last five years.
SWTO is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity, providing reasonable accommodation during the employment process for applicants with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This encourages a diverse and inclusive workplace ensuring all candidates receive fair consideration regardless of race, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic. The company takes pride in its supportive work environment and competitive compensation packages, aimed at attracting and retaining skilled drivers who value professionalism and reliability. This employment opportunity is ideal for experienced commercial drivers seeking a stable role with excellent benefits, a respectable pay package, and incentives that reward safe and efficient transportation of essential fuel products.
