Job Description

Arlington Heights Animal Hospital is a family-owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic that has proudly served the Fort Worth community since 1980. Located in the city's cultural district, the hospital is home to a dedicated 5-doctor team known for delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The hospital is well-regarded for its award-winning team, strong client relationships, and comprehensive full-service facility. As part of its commitment to outstanding veterinary care, Arlington Heights Animal Hospital offers various specialized services including The Retreat, which is an on-site boarding, grooming, and dog daycare facility designed to provide comfort, fun, and care for pets while their families are away.

The Retreat is currently seeking a friendly, organized, and client-focused individual to join their team as a Client Service Representative. This full-time position demands availability from Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. The role involves being the crucial first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and positive experience every time shoppers engage with The Retreat's services. Working amidst a vibrant atmosphere filled with wagging tails, playful pups, and happy clients, the Client Service Representative acts as the face of the boarding, grooming, and daycare facility, creating an inviting environment that guarantees both pet owners and their furry companions feel confident and cared for.

In addition to providing exceptional client service, the successful candidate will assist with various administrative duties, manage scheduling, handle inquiries and reservations, and coordinate communication among clients and staff. This position requires multitasking skills, proficiency with computer systems, and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively, as it plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in customer service, with prior veterinary experience being highly preferred. Job Requirements

  • One plus years of customer service experience required
  • Previous veterinary experience is highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival
  • Handle booking and scheduling for boarding, grooming, and daycare services
  • Manage client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and care
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records for services rendered
  • Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff as needed
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks including updating client information and maintaining service logs
  • Resolve client concerns or complaints diplomatically to ensure a positive experience
