Job Description
Dogtopia of Meridian North is part of Dogtopia, a leading dog daycare company dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for dogs and their owners. Dogtopia is widely recognized in the pet care industry for its commitment to the health and safety of dogs while offering exceptional customer service. The company operates with the mission of "Enhancing the joy of dog parenthood" by delivering top-notch daycare services that focus on socializing, exercising, and educating dogs. As an industry leader, Dogtopia combines a fast-paced work culture with a friendly team-oriented environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow.
The role of Pet Parent Concierge at Dogtopia of Meridian North offers an exciting opportunity for dog lovers who want to work in a dynamic environment where customer interaction and dog care go hand in hand. This position serves as the first point of contact for pet parents, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys talking about dogs and interacting with customers throughout the day. The position requires working Friday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 8 pm and Saturday mid-shifts from 9:45 am to 5:15 pm. There are also opportunities to cross-train as a playroom attendant for additional hours.
As a Pet Parent Concierge, you will be responsible for greeting pet parents, answering their questions, managing scheduling and meet and greet appointments, checking dogs in and out, and providing tours of the facility. This role demands friendly and professional communication skills, a passion for dogs, and the ability to maintain an organized and neat environment. Being part of Dogtopia’s team means embracing the company culture and Dogtopia-isms, which emphasize unconditional love for life, loyalty to your team, the highest standards of safety, playing to your fullest potential, and treating every day as the most exciting day ever.
In addition to a competitive base pay, Dogtopia offers various perks and bonuses including onboarding, retention, and team member referral bonuses up to $500, birthday bonuses, holiday pay, and opportunities for career advancement and personal development in areas such as dog behavior and customer service. Employees also benefit from the ability to bring their dogs to work and a company commitment to health and safety for both pets and people. Training is provided through Dogtopia Connect, which includes paid online courses that can offer industry certifications and continuing education units.
Overall, this role is designed for those who want to combine their love for dogs with a customer-focused job experience in a positive and supportive team environment. Dogtopia encourages growth, teamwork, and a commitment to making every day the most exciting day ever for both dogs and their parents.
