The company is renowned for delivering comprehensive science-based solutions, data-driven insights, and exceptional service to help customers maintain clean, safe, and sustainable environments. Ecolab's commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, sustainability, and public health has made it a trusted partner for nearly three million customer sites worldwide. The organization's culture emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and a talent-first philosophy, aiming to cultivate a workforce capable of addressing some of the world's most critical challenges related to food safety, water conservation, and health.

The Pest Control Technician Trainee role at Ecolab in Phoenix, Arizona, offers an exceptional opportunity to launch a career in the pest elimination industry while contributing directly to public health, food safety, and property protection. The position is focused exclusively on commercial pest control services and supports customers in sectors such as hospitality and foodservice. Ecolab’s Pest Elimination team utilizes science-based expertise and cutting-edge innovations to address complex pest challenges, safeguarding facilities, employees, and brands.

As a Pest Control Technician Trainee, candidates will participate in a five-week paid training program that covers pest detection, elimination, and prevention strategies. During this time, trainees will develop the technical skills necessary to deliver effective pest control solutions and obtain required certifications and licenses as mandated by local and state regulations. The role requires collaboration with a diverse range of commercial customers, establishing strong working relationships and educating clients on best practices to manage and prevent pest issues effectively.

The position operates predominantly during overnight shifts from Sunday to Thursday (9 pm to 5 am), with additional availability needed for off-hours and weekend calls. Trainees are also required to travel for a one-week training session in Eagan, Minnesota. This role offers the unique benefit of working independently in a flexible, field-based environment with the support of an industry-leading organization committed to employee growth and professional development.

Ecolab provides a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company matching, a company-paid pension, stock purchase plans, paid parental leave, and resources for childcare discounts. The compensation range for this position is $48,700 to $73,000 annually, including base pay and performance-based incentives. Ecolab is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive culture where associates are valued and have opportunities to thrive and shape their career paths. This Pest Control Technician Trainee role is ideal for individuals who value making a meaningful impact, enjoy working in dynamic environments, and are eager to grow within a company that prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and diversity.
